Maybe so. But in the mean time I can't stop them, so let me put them here.
Today was kind of a solitary day. I studied some, learned a lot, and went for a run in central park. The fall is just spectacular :)
Some thoughts came up. Some are targeted for certain people, others are for no one in particular.
"Show me the way to go home,
I'm tired and I want to go to bed;I had one little drink about an hour ago,
and it went straight to my head.
Wherever I may roam,
On land, or sea, or foam,
you can always hear me singing this song,
show me the way to go home. "
- An important song of unknown origin
She wanders, not to find a place to call home, per se, but to find the feeling of it.
Random. But I hope to write a book one day. I think.
But I prefer to put a little twist on it - Oftentimes, people with similar passions and interests find each other, and tend to exhibit common characteristics, practices, and values of their own that defy ethnic boundaries.
The rock climbing culture, for example, is one for welcoming adrenaline junkies. Maybe a little geeky too. The sports watchers' culture...I needn't say anything about that one for you to get it. I personally identify most with the backpacking culture - one full of adventurous, spontaneous, and introspective souls.
What culture do you identify with?
Imagine for a second, that you have made it. That you're standing under the spotlight, with all your dreams come true and goals realized. Who do you want standing next to you in this moment?
Ok. Back to studying. Anatomy calls.
